Multiverse (Tectonic, Kapsize, Caravan, 'Earwax, Build etc...) boss Ginz (James Ginzburg) has been producing records since he was 13 and DJing for the last Decade. Having toured the world under Various Aliases, his productions have been unavoidable both on the dance-floor and off it, particularly recently having co-written last years biggest dubstep anthem, Purple City, with Joker and co-written the seminal dubstep track "War Dub" with pinch under the name P. Dutty.Working with the hottest producer in the game, Joker, Ginz has also released music on Hyperdub ('Stash'), whilst remixing artists such as Basement Jaxx, Example and Zero 7.
(Bass Fueled Mischief | Step Up World)
Prior to the birth of this project in late 2008. Jody Shires and Tom Williams collectively had over 60 releases under their belts, along with production work for grammy nominated artists, numerous UK top ten remixes, 5 Breakspoll Awards, Best International Dj in the Spanish EDM awards 3 years running and a history in bass culture that is second to none.. The year is now 2010, sonic exploration in the realm of bass fueled riddims is the primary mission for Hellfire Machina. With residencies at New Yorks legendary Club Love, Darkroom in Brooklyn and Psychadelic Radio in SF, it’s no wonder these guys are in high demand. Their weekly radio show on dubstepfm has gone from strength to strength and has helped push the awareness of bass music across the globe as well as providing a platform to hear the latest Hellfire creations first, often in early stages as they are delevoped in their now famously named studio Planet Twisted. Ending last year with A and R and project management credits for the Wu Tang ‘Enter The Dubstep’ album and a string of singles and remixes, they have hit the ground running in 2010. A fresh batch of releases due to hit the streets imminently, a new label project with techno legend Lenny Dee in the works as well as the next chapter in the infamous BASS FUELED MISCHIEF parties in their homebase of NYC.

CONTAKT & C-SICK
Raised in Flint and Lansing Michigan (respectively), both C-Sick and Contakt grew up on the sounds of Techno, Electro and Ghettotech (then called simply “bass” or “booty-music”). Infatuated by these local sounds and the emerging Midwest hip-hop scene, C-Sick and Contakt were at the center of it all, djing at illegal parties, and working at Lansing’s first record store devoted solely to hip-hop, electronic music, and hardcore/punk. After relocating to New York City, the duo quickly found themselves in the middle of the thriving late 90’s / early 2000’s independent hip-hop scene.
As dubstep gained traction in the states, and 2-Step and garage were resurrected by artists like Burial and Kode 9, Contakt and C-Sick (along w/ Rem Koolhaus, Mayster, and Video City) returned to their roots launching the first party in the United States devoted to UK Funky/Future Garage/whatever you call the interesting stuff that isn’t quite Dubstep. The event, TURRBOTAX®, quickly found success as part of the NYC bass trifecta (alongside Trouble & Bass and Dubwar) with a devoted following and world class headliners like Untold, Martyn, Todd Edwards, Mosca, Bok Bok, Hot City, Kingdom, Martin Kemp, Doc Daneeka and more.
C-Sick and Contakt’s set’s are as unpredictable as they come, referencing their massive vinyl collections and combined 30+ years behind the decks. You might hear a classic techno set, or everything from UK Funky dubplates mixed w/ juke, hip-hop and classic 2-step. Expect the unexpected.
