Saturday, June 26th 2010:
The Rock It Science Laboratories Label Launch Event!
...hosted by KGB

Rock It Science Laboratories is a fresh music label that zooms forth
drawing from a wide spectrum of underground influences, with the
unifying principle of tracks being engineered directly for the dance
floor. Spanning many genres including House, Tech, Dubstep, and Electro,
each release is an auditory exploration. DJ Fame (Amos Damon) &
Eric Sharp, each renowned for their tastes in music developed as DJs,
producers, and remixers in their own right, head up this project. Expect
cutting edge sounds, exciting remix work, and music that will make some
serious waves for years to come! For more information visit www.RISLabs.com

In celebration of our first release, we bring you the big room remixers
enlisted for the “Wiggle Room“ EP... Chicago’s SANTIAGO & BUSHIDO.
For those who may be unfamiliar (STILL under that rock???), Santiago and
Bushido have been cranking out chart topping originals and high profile
remixes together for the past 6 years, releasing material on top notch
labels such as Potty Mouth, OM, and Ultra. Their track “Head Trick” was a
true dance anthem of 2008, receiving major support from guys like Moby,
DJ Tiesto, Switch, Armin Van Buren, and Diplo. It was Beatport’s single
most downloaded song in January 2008, and the 8th most downloaded of
the entire year! More recently, their collaboration with Om recording
artist Colette entitled “Make Me Feel,” was released in spring of this
year and quickly became a hit. S&B again saw the #1 spot on
Beatport's electro sales and was charted by another huge list of heavy
hitters.

Long time Sullivan Room resident, DJ FAME, returns to his home, this
time bringing with him the launch of his new collaborative label
project, Rock It Science... After 2 years performing guest sets at San
Francisco’s infamous RIS events, Fame has officially teamed up with head
honcho Eric Sharp to bring the vibe of these amazing nights to you in
the form of a digital music label featuring releases from themselves,
and other RIS resident DJs and friends!

Getting the party started for the night, and celebrating his birthday,
we welcome DAVID MARTINEZ to the decks.

“Wiggle Room” is the first pounding release on the fresh Rock It Science
Laboratories label. DJ Fame and Eric Sharp have all thrusters going
full throttle, turning out a twister of a track (think monster Slinky on
Red Bull.) Enlisted for a super hi-fi profile remix are two high
honored cadets of the Chicago club sound, Santiago & Bushido. The
Trillbass gang takes us to the dark forest of Dubstep, winding us down
creepy turns and shivering bass drops. Finally Andrew Phelan and George
Cochrane make the list here as well with not 1 but 2 housey wigglers..
