LIBATION Midnight Holiday Party w/ IAN FRIDAY-TONIGHT Thurs. 12/17

Tis the season for celebration and revolution – Soul Revolution that is.
DJ Ian Friday, Manchildblack & Afro Mosaic Soul request all members of the Soul Revolution and all those who are curious to meet with them for a fa la la la la fabulous time.
The faithful are meeting on Thursday, December 17th for Libation’s Midnight Solstice. That’s right; the zealots of house music will be turning it out at twilight. Whether you hanging ornaments on your Christmas tree, lighting candles on your menorah or feasting in “first fruits”, the Libation family are wishing all in NYC a happy holiday season and providing enough heat to bake the Big Apple to its core.
As the moon creates a spotlight for evening sky, Libation’s Midnight Solstice will pay homage to 2009 and offers a venue evoke spirits one more time before the millennium hits double digits. Libation is the central destination for theSoul Revolution and the future of Global Soul. With its bi-weekly sessions of celebration and audio and visual stimulation, Libation started as a small gathering at the Sapphire Lounge and has grown to set the standard for the underground scene in the Big Apple with its new home at the Sullivan Room. As the lyrical minister and the minister of sound, Manchildblack and Ian Friday have created the ultimate venue to showcase Global Soul, the future of dance music, and the Soul Revolution, the community and culture that will support the Global Soulmovement into the next decade of the new millennium. Libation not only delivers drenched t-shirts, it also provides salvation for the spirit.
December 17th is not a celebration…it is a soulabration. The Soul Revolution reconvenes at the bewitching hour this Thursday!
