MAICO STONZ BIO: Born Ahmed Jordan, in Guinea, West Africa on the Independence day, he was named by the President Ahmed Sekou Toure, a close personal friend of the family. His father is from Senegal of the Wolof tribe, which fellow Senegalese successful artist Akon is a fellow tribesmen.

Maico Stonz was destined for greatness, at an early age he relocated to the United States with his mother. He spent a majority of his childhood in Philadelphia, the City of Brother Love, home to Neo-soul. The city is blessed with a rich diverse musical history, Maico was exposed to all genres of music. He was inspired to rap through the influences of Biggie Smalls and the Wu-tang clan, and it motivated him to make his presence known in the underground hip-hop scene of Philly, Chicago, New York, and Miami.

Maico Stonz is a young brash artist poised for stardom, ready to set the world afire. He spit rhymes with wisdom beyond his young chronological age, but exhibiting a gregarious swagger which he conveys convincingly with confidence and ease. He commands the stage with the professionalism and dynamic presence of a veteran many years his senior.

Maico exudes an aura of charisma which captivates his audience with his infectious smile, more contagious then the black plague. Maico has the consummate hustler mentality dominating many open mic venues all over the country. He's released a series of mixtapes, distributed in most major east coast, dirty south and midwest markets, not to mention through the internet.

He is also an accomplished percussionist in the African drums. His talent is widely known in the afro-caribean, afro-latin community, showcasing his formidable skills in numerous cultural events in the New York, Philadelphia, Chicago and South Florida areas
