Walking Tour: Historic Taverns of Wall Street

Join Real Live People Party singles for an interesting walking tour of the Taverns of Lower Manhattan. We'll learn about all the historic associations, with stops at several taverns for refreshment. (The cost of refreshments at each stop is not included in the price...it's cash bar.)

Stops include where Washington bid farewell to his officers; a downtown pub frequented by Mark Twain and Lincoln; and a watering hole on a site associated with the Cotton Exchange and Captain Kidd.

Meeting point: In front of Museum of the American Indian (former Customs House) at beginning of Broadway at Bowling Green in Lower Manhattan. Subway: 4,5 to Bowling Green stops in front of the meeting point.
